Winter Wedding in New England

The world of Devon Rowland Photography, traveling wedding photographer documenting love and awesome people wherever they’ll have me, calms down for a little bit now that my last wedding of the year is done.  In 2018 I’ve worked in a bunch of states (six at least) and I’m a little scared to count how many nights I actually spent in my own bed (I think it was at least half the year, but I wouldn’t put money on it).  It’s been a lot, but it’s also been pretty excellent, and I am so happy to end the year on this note.
Christina and Jason were so joyous and down-to-earth and outright happy to be around each other.  From getting ready to first look to ceremony to raucous friends closing the night by singing John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, the whole wedding day was incredible and a delight to end my year with.
When Jason mentioned that they wanted to go get in the Atlantic ocean the morning after their wedding, and they wanted to do it in their wedding attire, I was 100% in.  I didn’t expect to have sand between my toes in December, but it was so very worth it.
